Nashua Mobile offers comprehensive insurance. Monthly premiums start from R33.00, depending on the replacement cost of your cellphone.

Please note:- The value of your claim depends on the value of the insured handset's replacement cost.
- You will be insured up to the maximum limit of indemnity and not necessarily for the maximum limit of indemnity.
Excess Buster
Nashua Mobile is proud to introduce "Excess Buster", an innovative handset insurance option that allows you to insure yourself against paying an excess when claiming for a lost, stolen or damaged phone. For just R12.00 per month you will be covered for up to two losses per year.
So whether your handset is already insured with us or if you wish to add handset insurance be sure to select “Excess Buster” and protect yourself from paying an excess

Laptop and Data card insurance
For clients who took the laptop and Data card bundles through Nashua Mobile, the premium (R 118.50) covers both the laptop and Data card. So, no additional premium needs to be paid for the Data card.
The laptop is covered for ALL Risks - however, please refer to the policy for specific exclusions.
The Data card is only covered while being used in conjunction with the cellphone number issued by Nashua Mobile.
Claims have to be submitted to Nashua Mobile within 30 days of theft, loss or damage. Failure to submit a claim form within 30 days will result in the rejection of your claim. Claims will not be valid if premiums are not paid.

Broadband Hardware Insurance
This insurance covers the router or Modem associated with your ADSL line.
The Broadband hardware is covered for ALL Risks - however, please refer to the policy for specific exclusions.
Claims have to be submitted to Nashua Mobile within 30 days of theft, loss or damage. Failure to submit a claim form within 30 days will result in the rejection of your claim. Claims will not be valid if premiums are not paid.

Nashua Mobile will
- provide you with cover in terms of the insurance policy
- cover you for loss, theft or damage of up to R12,000.00, depending on the value of your device and cover selection.
- replace you with the same device or a model of similar value and functionality should your device be discontinued (subject to the maximum limit of indemnity).
- cover you for illegal calls made from your SIM card of up to R2000 for a period of not more than 24 hours from time of loss or theft.
Nashua Mobile DOES NOT
- pay out cash on a claim
- honour claims where there has been non-compliance with the insurance policy.

indemnify you for any of the specific exclusions listed on the policy of insurance (Please refer to the Insurance Policy).
Its up to you
- to ensure that the premium is added to your account and that all premiums are paid timeously.
- to take all reasonable steps to safeguard your phone from loss, damage or theft.
- to ensure that All claims are submitted within 30 days from of theft, loss or damage.
- to report any loss or theft to the police within 48 hours.
- to let us know If you Upgrade or replace your phone during your Contract period
Please remember that the covered phone / Modem must be used with the covered SIM card.
