There are various ways in which to set up a SIM card pin number as it is dependent on your phone manufacturer and operating system. Find the manufacturer applicable to your phone and follow the step by step instructions set out below:

Step 1. Press Nokia "MENU" option.

Step 2. From the MENU options, choose TOOLS (new handsets)/ SETTINGS (old handsets).

Step 3. When in the SETTINGS tab, scroll and search for GENERAL option.

Step 4. Select GENERAL option and scroll to SECURITY option.

Step 5. Select SECURITY and select PHONE and SIM CARD option.

Step 6. Change PIN CODE REQUEST to ON.

Step 7. Enter PIN CODE (any combination other than 1234 and 0000).

Step 8. If requested to SAVE setting, please select the SAVE option.

Step 1. Press the Menu button.

Step 2. Tap on "Phone".

Step 3. Tap on "SIM PIN".

Step 4.Turn SIM PIN ON or OFF OR; tap “Change PIN”.

Step 1. Press the Menu button.

Step 2. Highlight the Options icon and press the track pad.

Step 3. Highlight Advanced Options and press the track pad.

Step 4.Highlight SIM Card and press the trackpad.

Step 5.Press the Menu button

Step 6.Select the option to “Change PIN1 code” or “edit SIM Phone number”.
