Nashua Mobile, the independent telecommunications service provider in the Reunert group, will be offering 8ta’s cellular services and products to its subscriber base countrywide with immediate effect.

8ta, a division of Telkom, is South Africa’s fourth and newest mobile network operator. Nashua Mobile has added 8ta’s offering to its portfolio in line with its commitment to offering its customers access to the widest possible selection of the best products and services from South Africa’s leading networks.

8ta’s full range of postpaid products are available from Nashua Mobile’s national network of dealers and franchised stores, 8ta’s prepaid products will be available from 7 June 2011. Nashua Mobile customers that opt for 8ta can choose from a flexible set of offerings tailored for a range of budgets as well as an extensive selection of handsets from leading manufacturers like Samsung, Nokia, BlackBerry, HTC and Motorola.

The first 100,000 8ta customers to sign up for a contract will get free calls to a nominated Telkom number for 24 months – an offer that provides a taste of what could be coming down the line from Telkom and 8ta in the months and years to come.
